In each team I've rotated through, all team members have always been willing to offer guidance and assistance when needed. This has helped me to develop my legal skills tremendously. We are also given the opportunity to have reviews during and after our rotation with our supervisor to obtain formal feedback.
Each clerk was assigned a buddy, mentor and supervising partner. In both rotations my buddy was no longer in the team and I had to find de facto buddies to introduce me to the teams. Both of my mentors worked from home for most of my time during the clerkship. We had feedback sessions for both rotations, for both I received overwhelmingly positive feedback with no constructive criticism. I am unsure if the cohort was very competitive, but in hindsight I would have preferred some constructive feedback so that I can improve. The supervising partners and my mentors were generous with their time in catching up for coffees. The firm also has many online induction modules and the entire first day dedicated to training on how to use the various internal systems.
