It can depend on the team, but I was almost a little shocked at just how much work goes in to making sure everyone is looked after and feels comfortable on a day-to-day basis. The genuine emphasis on culture really shows in how the teams work together and has been my favourite part of working here.
The culture at the firm is the reason I chose it over several other graduate options. Only place I have worked that embraces people fully and cares about how their people are.
We have an excellent team culture, with lots of juniors who organise social events both during and after work hours.
Very ambitious (in a collaborative way), opportunities to work closely with those higher in hierarchy. More limited interaction after hours as compared with experience in mid tier firms.
There is definitely the expectation that everyone works hard - but at the same time, no one takes themselves too seriously, and there are PLENTY of opportunities to have fun both daily (coffee runs, run club, social sport), team lunches and drinks and larger organised events.
