Almost all of the matters I work on are complicated and interesting. I am frequently given the opportunity to have a first pass on documents which can be really challenging but also very exciting. I have also been given the opportunity to speak directly with clients and take ownership over discrete tasks which is quite empowering as a graduate.
There is an extremely high level of trust and investment placed into grads, being encouraged to take the reigns on market leading matters and deals.
As a graduate you are thrown into complex matters and assisting on researching, drafting etc. Limited client contact as a graduate given the scale of most matters.
Drafting submissions, drafting supporting documents, legal research, assisting with business development (pitches etc).
As a Graduate in corporate, you are typically assisting with coordinating and contributing to due diligence, and completing ad-hoc legal analysis and advices. This means you have the opportunity to be involved in matters at different levels of granularity and will have to be responsible for the output.
