I would say the training has been very formal and helpful, however a lot of the coaching and mentoring is on the job and through the feedback from partners and colleagues.
I think it would be beneficial to do a few days of training first prior to being in the team. It is difficult having training scattered throughout the first few weeks when you are also being intergraded into the team and doing legal work
