They have the goal of keeping the graduates.
I have just started my position so I'm not quite sure yet. So far, there is a pathway to move up the ranks but there are a lot of different departments within the company, which depending on your interests and skills, you can go into. There is also a way to just move around the company, even other branches or sub/parent brand of the company, you can apply for assuming the position is available.
Currently, I cannot comment directly on this as it is very early days and the opportunity has not arisen as to whether my career aspirations could potentially be fulfilled. However, from conversations with long term employees I have been given the impression that there will be excellent opportunities available at the end of the graduate program. Feedback from other graduates tells me there is slow communication regarding whether opportunities will come to fruition for each graduate, which potentially pushes them to looking at outside roles.
