The company is very flexible, we are able to work from home twice a week
I usually work from 9am-5pm until it gets to a busy period. I know people in my team work slightly different hours, that is usually not an issue until something urgent comes up. I have definitely worked some late evenings, but this doesn't land for more than a few weeks and I do feel it was compensated with a quite time over Christmas. I try to work in the office 4 days a week as it helps me feel more in the loop as a graduate.
I think the company takes into account of personal needs. This can vary by department. Some days are set to be company day, which means you need to come into the office in that specific day. But I'd say pretty flexible.
Flexible if you provide reasoning
In my experience the typical 9-5 is the basis for most work hours at Philip Morris. However, the business has been extremely flexible with the ability to work from home, start and finish early depending on circumstances as well. There isn't a massive focus on time sheets, rather the expectation that the work you are assigned gets completed at a high level. There are times in which working with other international affiliates means work hours are different, but it all balances out in the end, and the business is really good at allowing employees to manage their own schedules.
