After two years in the jh graduate program, I was promoted to my current role (site engineer) in february 2023. I have been in this role for 2.5 years. In terms of future promotions, I still need to develop certain skills thoroughly to ensure I can make the jump. Also, the role needs to be there for that too.
Some departments are relatively small and there are few spaces for career progression especially if you are in a technical role and want to progress in that space.
