As one of the largest law firms in the world, we are a fully integrated network of lawyers and legal professionals sharing one clear vision.
The culture is excellent. There are communal kitchens on each level and people (from all different teams and all levels including partners and office services) will often sit and eat together or do the daily newspaper quiz together. People at all levels are friendly and approachable but it can be slightly team specific. One particular team I rotated through was the most emotionally safe I have ever felt in a workplace and felt as though I could bring my complete (although professional) self to work and there was no toxic masculinity. Juniors are well-supported and encouraged and empowered. There is a lot of training and learning opportunities. I get a general sense the firm look forward to and enjoy having the clerks there. There is no real sense of hierarchy and the partners will often get juniors to work directly with them on matters. I look forward to coming to work each day. They hire diversely and there are law grads from pretty much every university (i.e. no Monash/Melb bias).
There is a good young culture at the firm, and most people are pretty social. I think the firm would benefit from more organised activities especially for clerks and graduates to get to know their cohort. With this, team bonding activities would also be a good idea - this exists in some teams but not all. The structure and hierarchy changes depending on the team and the personalities in the team - some have better culture than others.
