Theres opportunities to switch roles or change sectors if you feel more suited or want to try something different. As a graduate they clearly layed out the planning, where for 2-3years your a graduate, then you become and engineer, you have a review and your manager may offer you a title increase.
Promotion opportunities are not available during the graduate programme, however, there is two income increases per year for the first two years. After the graduate program finished there is the chance for performance-based promotions. I see myself trying to become a leader of a team and think that KBR is able to provide this in the future as I become a more senior engineer. Project management seems to be a likely path I can take to fulfill these aspirations.
Seems fairly limited with long/ strict timeline progression and limited incentive for long hours and hard work.
There are fewer career levels than at other companies, which means longer time periods between promotions. For example, approximately four years of experience is required to move from L10 to L20, which means that graduates do not automatically receive a promotion or significant pay rise at the end of the two year graduate program.
