Positive experience - initial resume, cover letter and answers to multiple questions submitted. This was followed by an online assessment testing literacy, numeracy, emotional intelligence. The final stages were an in person interview and cocktail evening. The application process occurred very smoothly, and allowed me detailed insight into the firm and its culture.

The interview process and recruitment process in general was rather seamless. There was some psychometric testing prior to a one and only interview. There is a cocktail event style evening which is good to get to know more about the firm and listen to the managing partner and other important individuals.

I completed my clerkship application and interview in 2024. That year for our applications we were required to write responses to short answer questions, submit a cover letter and resume, and complete psychometric testing. One of the short answer questions was up to 1000 words for the response. I believe this may have deterred some applicants. Some applicants were given quite short notice of their interview, such as being notified the day before. The interview itself was conducted well. I also enjoyed the connection evening that the firm hosted, as we were able to find out more about the firm and hear from the graduates at the time. The clerkship was also a great experience, where we were well supported throughout.

Only a cover letter, resume, academic transcript, then a psychometric test, one interview with an HR representative and Partner, then a networking evening. Grateful it was not multiple rounds of interviews.
