My tasking has offered a variety of experiences within the team such as CAD work, physical installations, trade studies, and report writing. I think little consideration has been given to tailoring tasking towards my interests, and often minimal guidance is given on tasking.
I am a software engineer at the LMA research lab called AST. I work closely with researchers, cleaning up their code, integrating it into combined systems, and just getting stuff running. I've done most of my work in the backend in Python, but also do frontend work.
