38 hour work weeks are very standard in Australia, and there is a level of flexibility with how you can arrange your working hours. For instance I work the 4-day week which means I work extra hours Monday-Thursday so I can have every Friday off completely. This level of flexibility however is not always granted and is dependent on your managers approval. As for work-from-home arrangements my experience has not been flexible as I need to request this on a case-by-case basis.
Very flexible with arranging WFH and starting late/finish early for appointments, etc
Almost all my work is done from home, and there's no obligation to come into the office if you choose not to. Hours are pretty flexible, especially with the 9 day fortnight and 4 day week options, where your total hours stay the same (longer days), but you get the flexibility of days off. You can also ask to dip out to appointments and stuff during the week, they don't mind.
