Macpherson Kelley is a hands-on commercial law firm, known for our business mindset, client service, innovation and investment in great relationships.
We first needed to go through an online application, this was followed by a video interview, then an assessment centre and finally, an in-person interview.
First initial application was straight forward. Video interview was easy and could be done from anywhere (I was overseas and had no issue completing it), then there was an assessment centre day which was intimidating at first but was actually quite fun. Then a final interview a week later.
The interview process at Macpherson Kelley involved the following stages: Written Application: Submission of Resume and cover letter. Video Interview: Answer a few questions in a recorded format. Assessment Centre: Participate in both individual and group activities. Final Interviews: Conducted with senior members of the firm, including HR and Principal Lawyers. I found the interview process at Macpherson Kelley, particularly the Assessment Centre, to be incredibly insightful. It provided a deep understanding of what it's like to work at the firm. Despite the length of the process and assessments, I never felt stressed, uncomfortable, or out of place. The environment was exceptionally welcoming and supportive, making the entire experience both enjoyable and enlightening.
It was difficult but justified and I know they were just scoping for the right humans for the DNA
Lots of interviews but they were easy to get through and the assessment was enjoyable
