Yes, it takes time though as the climb from solicitor to SA is rather high. (around 5 years). But the firm does provide opportunities to continue learning and progressing in our own careers - especially with giving us opportunities to create our own niches,
I have moved from a clerk to a graduate lawyer, but have no other experience with career progression yet. However, the firm has a very supportive and encouraging environment.
Fixed policies to be promoted to senior associate - strict on meeting PQE time requirement alongside other commonly used assessment factors e.g. targets, criteria
Lots of opportunity for growth, and also there are non-billable targets that help with career progression, like volunteering, speaking at events for clerks etc.
Yes, KWM has great career progression. I will rotate through several teams as part of my graduate program - this provides opportunity to learn in different areas of the law. Graduates receive a pay rise each rotation. We then settle in a team. Once settled, solicitors will expand their knowledge in relevant area of law and will one day become a senior associate (if all goes well).
