Generally the work I get to do is great, there are some tasks that are more administrative but at the end of the day they get you around the documents and you are the one able to really be the go-to on the matter as you are closer to the work
I've been given a variety of work and have had the opportunity to work with other teams as well. On a day-to-day basis, I might work on contract drafting, contract review, letter drafting, legal research, attend meetings, and preparing draft applications.
Generally satisfied given the circumstances (has been quiet in team). Tasks vary greatly, but generally involves summarising and analysing contracts, sometimes drafting letters and research. Also often get to work on pro bono matters which varies significantly depending on which client.
As a graduate, you have extremely varied work, often assisting the team in whatever capacity they need assistance with. Can be drafting documents, research, deliveries, drafting emails, reviewing documents, running searches, compiling issue lists, responding to emails, note-taking in calls etc.
I work on very interesting matters at KWM. The work I do within my team is engaging and feels substantive in the current legal market. I also find the pro bono work I volunteer for to be rewarding and interesting. I feel like my skills as a future practitioner are improving.
