Very good - KWM provided ample support and opportunities during the recruitment process; assessments all seemed fair and lots of feedback was provided
There were two rounds of interview, an application form (including a character test), and a cocktail evening-style event. The interviews were conversational for the most part, but there were several situational questions.
Generally enjoyable though inevitably tiring. Clerkship process involved psychometric testing (though to my understanding this is no longer done), and two in-person interviews (rare for Brisbane).
Very conversational interviews, and you could tell the Partner and Senior Associate were genuinely interested in getting to know you, and to understand why you value commercial law and desire to work at KWM.
The interview itself was quite casual. The process of applying and making it through two interviews was a daunting process; it was very competitive.
