There is a push towards workforce nationalisation in the PNG team, meaning the majority of the PNG blue collar workforce are PNG citizens. This is a good step towards diversity & inclusion and positively impacts the PNG economy.
When i look around the office i cant see any preference or favoritism towards any particular group the office is diverse in age, skills, gender, race etc.
Diversity and inclusion seems to be something that is promoted, and hiring of grads does seem to reflect the demographics of university students, but if there was a real push for diversity the company should be supporting it at the lowest level and supporting more individuals from lower socio economic spaces, and remote communities particularly those we work in.
