Since our office relocation in February, we have experienced a number of persistent issues that have affected both functionality and workplace comfort. These include broken monitor screens, malfunctioning docking stations, mould growth in the kitchen area, damaged taps, a faulty security door, and the absence of privacy partitions. These matters require attention to ensure a safe, efficient, and professional working environment.
The office space is fairly big, and we can see and speak to each other. the dress code is regular, and we all wear our NIAA uniform when coming to work.
The National office is in Woden, Canberra. It is a great space with hotdesking in most teams. There are good spaces and facilities (meeting rooms, quiet working spaces, kitchens on each level). There's nothing flash like a gym or pool - but there are showers in the basement. The office is moderately accessible. The dress code is pretty lax, depending on your team. Most wear typical APS attire, with a casual Friday. But, in most teams you can wear casual clothes on any day. Jeans, hoodies and such are common sites throughout the week. The office is very close to the Woden Westfield, and there are a good array of nearby cafes and food outlets.
