The workplace culture is generally collaborative, and I have found colleagues willing to share knowledge and support one another when needed. Teams work closely together to deliver outcomes, and there are opportunities to engage with people across different business units and levels of the organisation. Like many large organisations, there can be a strong focus on workloads, priorities, and delivery outcomes, which can sometimes make it challenging to invest as much time in relationship-building as people might like. I think there are opportunities for leaders to continue fostering team connection and morale alongside business objectives. The organisational structure is relatively clear, with managers and senior leaders accessible through regular meetings, events, and development opportunities. Building strong professional relationships and maintaining open communication can help employees navigate the organisation and learn from others. Outside of work, there have been efforts to encourage social connection through team events, networking opportunities, and after-work activities. Participation varies depending on individual schedules and team commitments, but these initiatives provide valuable opportunities to get to know colleagues beyond day-to-day work and strengthen workplace relationships.
