I had a great experience with the whole interview process. I had two interviews, and I felt comfortable with chatting and asking questions throughout the whole process and was made to feel like Northop would be a good fit for me.
The interview process was very streamlined and felt personalised which was good. The onboarding process took a while though since induction/gradcon occurred later in the year.
I got a number off a friend and called a manager here and we caught up for coffee.
I had 2 interviews with four different people. But it really started with a coffee catch-up I had with one of the group managers and spoke about ways to prepare for the industry after my coursework. The first interview was with two group managers from the Sustainability Section going over my CV, previous experience, lessons from my coursework at university and general thoughts about sustainability in the built environment. The second interview was after a month with another group manager and the National Sustainability Section Lead more focused on my previous technical work and the kind of work I'd be interested in pursuing in the multifaceted Sustainability sphere.
