As an intern, my supervisor gives me work to do and I ask questions when I need help. I have been assigned a buddy who also helps me more often when I have small questions. Even so, everyone in the office is willing to answer my questions.
My manager takes a lot of time to help me develop
When we first started we had a crash course into how to apply the principals we learnt at university to real projects and how that looks like. You are also assigned a mentor through the early part of your career, and they check up on you and will answer all the questions you have. There are also lots of training sessions during lunch that can help you develop parts of your career you had not thought of.
You learn a lot on the job. They provide some formal training however most training is from asking questions to fellow employees.
There are numerous sessions for developing skills throughout the year. For example, a few months ago a team member ran a crash course on how to use a software. There is also good training in just learning on the job. People are always open to answering questions you may have so it works well.
