Access to all resources, large campus with lots of restaurants and cafes. Has a basketball court
The location of the office is not the greatest but it makes sense given the sheer size of it. There are currently a few unused facilities/areas which is makes things feel a bit run-down and old but isn't too bad. Additionally, some of the spaces feel quite dated and old, especially compared with other areas where things look quite nice, modern and comfortable. It is disappointing that there are no recreational facilities (eg. table-tennis, pool, etc) beyond a mixed tennis/basketball court. Additionally, it is extremely disappointing that the gym facilities is a separate, paid service but isn't extensive given the price-point. The onsite GP and psychologist are also fantastic in terms of 'available facilities'. Dress code is fairly relaxed, and I often dress how I feel for the week - smart casual, business casual, business, etc. There is no real dress code beyond not looking like a mess.
Macquarie Park location has lots of outdoor spaces and is very similar to a uni campus. Sunny and shady areas, wheelchair accessible, and facilities on site e.g. gym, GP, end of trip. Some areas are hot desking, others not. Lots of cafe options, including a bar. Buses going regularly from the metro, otherwise $14 day parking. Dress code dependent on the team/BU - generally smart casual
Not as modern and lively as other offices but does the job.
