I think there is a good attitude generally towards diversity and inclusion. As a Jewish person, I have been made to feel welcome and bring my culture to the workplace and to feel comfortable in doing so. As a member of the FREE (faith religion ethnicity ) committee, there are more measures in place to help people feel welcome and safe in this respect.
Our workplace is incredibly diverse and this is echoed by the celebration of various cultural holidays. Additionally, has various committees such as the 'FREE' (Faith, Race, Ethnicity and Equality) committee and the LGBTQI+ alliance, which allows anyone to join and contribute to making the workplace a more inclusive place
There are definitely conversations and sessions held on diversity and inclusion. It does appear that a large majority of people hired at the firm do come from similar education and socio-economic backgrounds. I have noticed that retention is high and people do stay at the firm for many years. There are regular promotions and a high proportion of females in leadership and senior positions.
It could be more diverse. I think they're just starting to focus more on ensuring cultures and different backgrounds are being recognised, but I heard in the past years the DE&I initiatives (such as celebrating different cultures' holiday) were abandoned.
