I think the management is highly competent. They certainly make for good mentors and they are all approachable and many of them say hello to me by my name which I find impressive and kind, given how junior I am. They seem to have a good approach to praise and recognition.
My managers are very accessible and are very easy to talk to. They are great mentors as they make time to give me feedback and will also seek wider feedback on my performance to assist me in evaluating my own progress.
It really depends on your team, but managers are generally accessible and can make great mentors. In my team, there is some internal communication and performance feedback from the supervisors. The mid-rotation and more formal end-of-rotation review present excellent opportunities to hear from your supervisor feedback on your performance.
My supervisor is great. She really takes time and care to check in on me. Only downside is that she doesn't know what her roles and responsibilities are in terms of taking care of a graduate because HR did not tell her she would be my supervisor until the day I arrived.
