I appreciate that the progression from Graduate level 1 to Senior is quite a clear pathway however I find that across the departments when it comes to getting from Senior to AM, Manager etc. the differences can vary quite a bit both in the expectations and skills it takes to move up, the time and the salary you are offered when you get there. I feel like some more transparency around here would be more appreciated.
There seems to be a clear path from graduate to partner. If you display a desire to learn and put the work in you should be rewarded by being moved up, they prefer not to hold people back if they display the required qualities.
Hard to exactly know, but there is a clear path from graduate up to manager level after 4-5 years. Performance reviews provide clear ratings and levels required to obtain a promotion
In my team it seems very difficult to be promoted faster at a faster rate than the standard timeline (promotion every 2-3 years depending on role).
