Graduates typically work a 9-day fortnight which significantly improves work life balance. Hours and working arrangements are team dependent, but my experience has been very positive, being allowed to work from home when I choose as well as being able to select my working hours each day.
Flexibility varies depending on the team and nature of the role. Positions involving field work or real time operational support generally require in-person attendance. While office-based roles offer flexible start and finish times and the ability to work from home. Managers are supportive and accommodating of individual needs and focus on promoting a healthy work-life balance.
Most teams are flexible with working from home regularly but most preference you to be in the office while you are starting out in the new team, meeting people and learning the job. Anyone I know with working arrangements, Powerlink have been more than happy to work around.
