Most teams are flexible with working from home regularly but most preference you to be in the office while you are starting out in the new team, meeting people and learning the job. Anyone I know with working arrangements, Powerlink have been more than happy to work around.
Super flexible and very willing to come to the table to work out the best work arrangement for all parties
Flexible work arrangements and wfh culture is very dependent on which team you are working for within this company. Most* teams are fantastic at supporting flexible work arrangements through culture, collaboration & communication styles. Others are less so and can be quite rigid with flexibility (next to no wfh culture despite the job being suitable for it). My current team has a nice balance and supports wfh up to 2 days a week with flexibility to complete additional hours remotely when required. Specific start/finish times are not mandated which is constructive to work/life balance. Generally, contact days in the office are Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. This balance promotes team connection while allowing for constructive independent work Monday and Friday.
Different teams have different requirements for work from arrangement due to the nature of their work but in my case, I have full support from my team to start and finish at earlier times (8am-4pm) than the general 9 to 5. I am also able to work from home 2 days a week.
