Only one interview stage. Called before as initial screen and booked in for an interview. After that, suitable candidates are booked in for a medical. The medical seems a bit excessive for white collar roles but makes sense since it is in a manufacturing site.
The interview was quick and efficient (contract came within 2 weeks). Pre-employment medical check was organised smoothly... and I was in the office within 3 weeks of the interview.
I never actually applied to the job - I just clicked 'apply' on Prosple but never actually applied on Workday since I didn't think I had enough experience matching the job requirements. So it was surprising to get a phone call and email scheduling my interview a few days later. After the interview was the pre-employment medical and then the offer. Overall, it was a very quick turnaround from 'application' to offer and I do appreciate it.
The interview process I went through consisted of seven stages, which I found to be quite comprehensive. While it was a lengthy process, I understand that this level of screening is necessary to identify the most suitable candidates, especially for graduate roles. What stood out to me was how casual and conversational the initial stages were. This helped ease my nerves and made me feel more comfortable and confident moving forward. It created a welcoming first impression of the company. The case study stage was by far the most challenging part of the process. It required a deep level of analysis and problem-solving, which I believe was designed to test both technical and critical thinking skills under pressure.
