They have many initiatives to reduce their carbon footprint when producing their products. in the offices they have separate bins for general, recycling and organic waste which I like. Although I wish they had it in the factories as well.
Recycling and reusing boxes for storage
There are products that try to use recycled materials, and some initiatives like PRY-CYCLE. However, there are issues with using recycled materials since they don't produce the same properties as virgin plastics. There are efforts towards digitalisation, though quite a lot of things are still on paper. I can't find a recycling bin in my office nor a bin dedicated for batteries/electronic waste. Also, the forklifts still use fuel instead being electric or using biofuel.
I would rate my employer’s commitment to reducing environmental impact as very good. The company has made significant improvements in recent years and is now considered one of the industry leaders in sustainability. What stands out is that almost everyone in the company understands the basic concepts of sustainability, which reflects strong internal communication and awareness. There have been clear efforts and initiatives aimed at becoming more sustainable—both in current operations and in long-term planning. It’s encouraging to see that sustainability is not just a buzzword but is being actively integrated into the company’s culture and practices.
