In the grad program there's lots of training organised and managers encourage paying for training in the form of certs too. It's also encouraged to apply to attend conferences.
Opportunities are presented and professional growth meetings address personal wants. These aren't followed up on most of the time though. Random team trainings do pop up which are good
We have continuously been given training on various topics like Excel, Critical Thinking, Leading Self Effectively, Enhancing Communication Effectiveness, Mental Health First Aid. I found these trainings very useful and will definitely help with my professional development. For performance feedback, we complete a document called a graduate learning plan (GLP) for every rotation where we define our goals and skills we'd like to learn or improve on, and we meet with our managers a few times to go through the GLP to see how we are tracking throughout the rotation period.
Plenty of relevant and informative training.
