My experience has been that people are approachable and supportive, and teamwork is encouraged. There is a clear structure, but I've always felt comfortable asking questions and reaching out to colleagues at different levels
Everyone is treated equally with respect. Everyone is very welcoming and it is such a great environment every time you have an in-office day.
Overall, the workplace culture is good. However, there are some information silos, and knowledge isn't always shared openly. Some people seem hesitant to embrace change or share their expertise, which can make collaboration more difficult than it needs to be.
The organisation's structure can be quite complex, and frequent machinery-of-government changes can make reporting lines and hierarchies less clear at times. However, the workplace culture is very positive and inclusive, with colleagues generally being supportive and approachable. Outside of work, there are also opportunities to socialise with colleagues through team events, networking activities, and informal gatherings.
