As a Graduate Digital Integration Officer, my role focuses on improving business processes through automation and supporting the adoption of AI technologies such as Microsoft Copilot. My day-to-day work includes building and maintaining Power Automate solutions, supporting governance and administration of Microsoft 365 services, managing Copilot licensing and adoption activities, and helping business areas make better use of digital tools.
My role is a Service Desk Officer, primarily working on the Phones team. My day-to-day tasks involve: - Setting up my work environment to be able to document and investigate calls that come in. - Being available to take calls. - Checking the ticketing system and emails for any updates on created tickets. - Documenting and Triaging calls that come in. - Assisting users with troubleshooting or queries. - Updating and documenting tickets. - Discussing with my team for ticket escalations and clarification.
Some tasks are interesting, but most of them don't really contribute towards my career goals.
My role focuses on whole-of-government policy and ICT investment business cases within the Enterprise Architecture team. My work is largely project-based rather than routine, with responsibilities varying depending on current priorities, projects, and support required by senior leadership. This provides exposure to a broad range of strategic initiatives and stakeholders across government.
