I've worked 8 hours in the city and typically work 12 hour days on site. When in the city the working arrangements are flexible. The team typically come in for one day with all our big team meetings and have the choice to work from home the rest of the week. Working hours are very flexible. As long as the work is being done and nothing is lagging behind the hours are very flexible. One team member works completely remotely from another state.

8 days on 6 days off. 12 hour days. You get used to 12 hour days quickly when working on site. 6 days off leaves plenty of time to spend your break however you want

9-day fortnight supposed to be average 40 hours a week with reasonable overtime when required. Due to nature of our site, we are typically on site for 11 hours, far exceeding reasonable overtime.

Quite stringent. You may only work from home if you are ill and physically can't or should not be coming to site (suits engineering roles because you need to have a presence). Flexible with leave, personal errands, days in lieu etc as we tend to work overtime hours a lot.

My direct lead is flexible, if I need to leave work early for an appointment I absolutely can, and make up for those hours at a different stage. I work a 9-day fortnight and it works out to spending over 9 hours on site assuming full lunch breaks are taken at your own discretion. My leader is fantastic for allowing me to move RDOs around to suit me as long as the team has coverage.
