My managers have individual check-in meetings with me fortnightly. They provide constructive performance feedback and help me to identify my strengths and weaknesses. They also provide tips for me to close my gaps.
The managers at Santos can vary depending on how involved they are with your team. Team leaders often provide the most feedback and make good mentors. As you go further up into management you have less communication and it can be hard if you then require something from them. Management try to incorporate recognition for high performance which can be valuable long term however it can be hard to stand out sometimes.
