Most training was either self paced or through the help of an assigned buddy to walk me through different aspects of the job. There didn't seem to be a concrete development plan for completing day to day activities. There is a wide range of learning modules of different aspects at Schneider, so training can be as much as you put in. There hasn't been much of established one on one coaching/mentoring outside of regular catch ups with managers. Coaching/mentoring is possible as Schneider Electric has an internal talent platform that allows employees to seek out projects or mentors within the company to expand on skills.
We had a structured series of sessions at the start of the graduate program, which gave a good overview of the business and base systems. After that, for role specific training, has been more scattered and I have had to learn things myself in a lot of cases, with limited training or documentation available. This is an area for improvement for the office in Benalla.
