It was a long interview process from march to august in my case. After getting merit listed, i was given two roles (ministerial correspondence officer and parliamentary support officer) which wasn't in an area that i saw myself in but as part of the graduate program we have two placements. We had to apply to the role, undergo online assessment, assessment centre and referee check, and pre-engagement checks.
My current role had less stages than some others, which i enjoyed. The group interview was combined with the individual interview so they were one after the other on the same day, which i think i prefer to get it all over and done with. The wait time to hear if we were successful was very long though, with minimal or inaccurate suggestions of when we would hear.
Assessments and interview went well - during the group interview i had a group of three which made it easier for us to showcase our skills. I remember the assessment being easy and felt good about how i finished.
The interview and assessment were straightforward.
I thought it was a well organised and thorough process and assessments.
