My old manager was not easily accessible and lacked empathy. He did however have a lot of experience and was able to teach me a lot. My current manager is exceptional but has a team of 16 which can make him less accessible.
Flat organisational structure relating to responsibility, managers are approachable and proactive to support where possible.
