CEO change in 2023 shifted away from sustainability. Less renewables focus & more medium term focus on integrated gas.
I am aware that the company has made commitments to sustainability including reducing emissions and supporting the energy transition. Culturally this does not feel like a priority for the global business which is evidenced through recent sale of renewables portfolio.
My employer has made great efforts to improve efficiency and optimise.
Inherent to the industry, there is large environmental impact. Most of the discussion I have been exposed to around opportunity realization and development have been centered around production and safety. Environmental impact is kept to a high standard, but doesn't seem like a focus where the organisation can try and exceed (while it does in other areas).
