Strong sustainable focus
SMEC has consistently placed a strong emphasis on sustainability throughout my time with the company. Since joining, I have participated in a number of sustainability-focused initiatives, workshops, and learning sessions that have helped build awareness of sustainable practices and their application in our projects. Most recently, I attended the Regenerative Foundations Programme, which provided valuable insights into regenerative thinking and how we can move beyond simply reducing impacts towards creating positive environmental, social, and economic outcomes.
