We have a very flat organisation that is highly collaborative. Partners and managers genuinely want you to learn and grow, and your inputs are always heard and valued. This means that even as juniors, you have plenty of opportunities and are encouraged to speak up during meetings and contribute to discussions. Everyone is extremely approachable, regardless of seniority. Outside of the office, we have social events roughly once a month, including team lunches and dinners, as well as activities like mini golf and escape rooms.
I loved SPP to bits! There were strong formal mentoring networks with each of us interns being assigned a buddy, and some social events outside of work hours such as mini golf and dinner. Not only this, but there were also strong informal connections made, with one of the senior consultants inviting us interns to her weekly self defence class. It was lovely to see that people in the firm were still connected outside of work (I believe several of them attended an Engagement Manager's birthday party). There are clear structures but not in a way that makes it feel like you cannot voice your opinions totally. There might have been some underlying pressure to do well and produce good work for promotion purposes, but I think that's something which exists across all workplaces and is not necessarily unique to SPP.
