There is no formal training programme, rather, you learn on the job & on the go, throughout my time in estimating and preconstruction, I was given tasks with varying difficulties, where my work was then checked by my peers, this allowed me to try and implement the skills I learnt throughout university and then refine my work with the team. As the graduate, no one expects you to know everything, the team is always willing to help. Additionally, you are assigned a 'buddy' to lean on if you are ever stuck with anything.
