Very relaxed culture with a lot of cooperation and teamwork and socialisation. Defined structure and hierarchy but everyone (mostly) in any role is still very friendly and supportive.
There is more culture at the head office due to the larger number of people. The regional office I work from has less, however still has afterhours events for Christmas and some other occassions.
Culture in my team is supportive and professional. Officers frequently cooperate on incidents and get along well. However, I have heard other teams are very different.
I only have positives so far. Lots of opportunities to socialise and meet people are quite readily available. The Youth Outreach Understanding and Networking Group (YOUNG) has been awesome at providing opportunities for young professionals to meet and engage across the department areas.
