Department provides cultural leave and events to celebrate NAIDOC week. Also specifies preference for women, LGBTIQA+, people from different backgrounds, and youth on job descriptions.
The work place feels very safe and has a high proportion of women staff across all levels of the hierarchy which is amazing. Having such flexible working arrangements (hours, location, etc.) has meant that I've seen mothers come back from maternity leave and be very supported.
