Was given sufficient time to answer questions and felt like the pace was quite suitable as I had enough time to provide detailed responses and think about what else to say next.
The interview process and assessments for my role were fair. The only comment i would have would be the confusion around getting selected to be in the pool vs being selected for the role. For me it was not completly clear if i had just made it into the pool and not the graduate program or if i was in the pool and the next step would be to select the graduates. I interpreted it that I had only made it into the pool and so I had started applying for new jobs
Long and unclear throughout the process. Makes more sense now being in government but wasn't prepared for how long it would take. There were also quite a few delays (e.g. saying we would hear back in a week and it taking 2).
The interview and assessment process was easy and straight forward. The one way video assessment allowed for me to answer the interview questions with enough detail and flexibility to cater to my own experiences and prove my suitability for the position. I was nervous but it was a good amount of pressure to perform well. The panel interview was quite standard and no questions really took me by surprise. The panel was friendly and having the 10 minutes to read and prep answers prior to entering the room made it very achievable.
