Environmental plans are in place to reduce our impact and its always a priority.
The construction industry is hard to be sustainable in; however we aim to reduce materials required by reusing between sites, exploring more sustainable options (introduction of recycled glass into asphalt). We also have an environmental crew which implement environmental protectors on each site, as well as completing audits to ensure each site is prioritizing safeguarding the environment and any existing features such as wetlands, lakes, trees etc.
Winslow is constantly monitoring our environmental impact and looking for new opportunities to increase this. This could be through sourcing renewable or recycled products or looking at alternative methods for construction that lessen our impact to the environment.
There is regular training and development conducted in relation to sustainability, it is a priority that the business operates sustainably and that employees understand their personal contribution.
