The first thing i tell people when they ask about my job is how much i love the culture - hands down, it’s the best part. I genuinely enjoy working with my teammates and always rave about how great everyone is to work with. There’s a strong sense of support and collaboration, and it makes coming to work something i actually look forward to. the structure is clear without being overly formal - everyone knows their role, but there’s plenty of room to speak up, share ideas, and work together. Teamwork is a big part of how we operate, and people are always happy to lend a hand or jump in when needed. after hours, there’s a good mix of socialising - whether it’s team drinks, quiz nights, or just hanging out, people genuinely enjoy spending time together. It’s definitely a “work hard, play hard” kind of crew…
It depends on the team. In my first rotation there were multiple instances of inappropriate behaviour. I had to speak to the team leader about several things that i witnessed or experienced that were not appropriate for work. My current team is much better in that regard. As far as i have witnessed so far the people are not toxic.
I have found everyone i have interacted with to be very kind, courteous and supportive. I have been graciously advised and aided in my transition into my role and am very grateful for the kindness of my colleagues.
