He interview process was well-structured and smooth from start to finish. The initial phone screening was straightforward, and the welcome day was exceptionally well organized. The group tasks provided a valuable opportunity to collaborate with others, and although there were some nerves at first, working in a smaller group beforehand helped ease the transition into presenting to the wider group. During the one-on-one interview, darcy played a key role in making the experience more comfortable. His presence, alongside the engineer, helped create a supportive environment and made the conversation feel more natural and less intimidating.
I thought it was very straight forward with minimal hiccups. Very engaging interview process. I enjoyed the large welcome day with several different candidates.
I felt the interview was fairly conventional - questions were straightforward and behavioural. Welcome day process was more unique and was a great way to familiarise myself with the organisation.
The recruitment process was thorough but quite lengthy. It began with a phone call that provided a general overview of what uu does. The second stage was a welcome day, which offered more insight into the company and was designed to assess candidates’ collaboration and presentation skills. The final stage was a one-on-one interview to determine if there was a strong mutual fit. Even after receiving the offer, the process required a considerable amount of documentation and time. Overall, i’d rate the experience a 7 out of 10 , i appreciated the value of each stage, but would have preferred a shorter timeframe.
Process from start to finish was the most straight-forward and easy to follow, compared to other grad applications.
