Be Bold. Be Ventia
My manager is great, he is welcoming, approachable, puts effort into my development as a grad and ensures the work I am doing is relevant, engaging and meaningful, even when he is a GM and has a lot of other things on his plate, he still puts in the time and effort to being a grad manager/mentor. As for other leaders and higher-ups I have spoken to, very much the same. They are all approachable, and always down to have a conversation and answer any questions you may have, or bounce ideas off them. It comes back to the culture that Ventia has and stands for
They can be very busy however always prioritise their staff and provide assistance/mentorship where needed with weekly or fortnightly catch ups.
My first line manager was very accessible, gave me plenty of time and provided plenty of guidance. I also find me assigned mentor to be invested in my development. I have not had much experience with many others.
