The multiple stages of the recruitment process were enjoyable and reasonable, allowing you to properly show your skillset. The waiting game of months and months was somewhat painful however, and I think if I didn't get the role at one of the later stages I would be upset that I had to spend so much time on it and wait for so long. Critically, almost no information is shared about the role. I think it's important that applicants know they can literally be stationed just about anywhere within 2 hours of Melbourne - they don't say you need a car, but you might be commuting 2+ hours on public transport if you don't.
Very long
The recruitment process was quite long, with initial application, online assessment, assessment centre, and then final interviews, but I guess with the number of applications there is no other way. The questions asked in the assessment centre was unique and prompted coordination in a team environment, which is very relevant to the job.
It was a very long process to choose the correct candidates. It was a good experience with timely responses.
