Through the graduate program we are offered significant formal professional development and learning opportunities in-between our rotations.
There are plenty of opportunities for training and development opportunities in the role. there are online courses, trainings and seminars which are effectively communicated to us. the graduates are completing a cert 4 plus 3 weeks of dedicated training over the 2 year program.
We have been offered paid for courses to obtain a White Card, SWIRC, and a medical to be able to work onsite. We are also enrolled into a Cert IV WHS to be completed over the two years. We could benefit from first aid training and mental health first aid response training. In my role, I have worked closely with my manager and the rest of the team to train me in the skills required to work in project management.
